You will report directly to Asia General Manager and work closely with the department of Hardware & Manufacturing leader to assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems for robotic applications. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with experienced engineers and contribute to the development of innovative robotic technologies.

The role
We are looking for a Mechanical engineer with sufficient management skills and technical knowledge to join our team. You will have the opportunity to experience work within a technology startup.
As a Mechanical engineer a typical day might include the following:
Assist in designing and developing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for robotic platforms.
Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD software ( SolidWorks).
Support the integration of mechanical systems with electronic and software components.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of mechanical systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
Conduct research on materials and manufacturing processes to enhance robotic systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Lead failure analysis and risk assessment for mechanical components in robotic systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, industrial design, and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in mechanical design and robotics.
Requirements
This job might be the right one for you if:
Have a Valid US VISA.
Proficient English level (B2, C1).
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks,).
Knowledge of materials science, structural mechanics, and thermal properties.
Familiarity with manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding.
Agenda management.

Results-focused mindset.
Excellent communication: Transmit ideas effectively, be clear about what you are going to do and have a general scope of the problem.
The origin of any plan must be action: Act quickly in the face of problems in the field.
Technical skills for problem solving.

Ability to interpret data and make decisions based on it.
Be proactive and have the disposition to propose ideas.

Experience in designing products for medium- or large-scale production
You might have also have:
Knowledge of robotics-specific mechanisms such as robotic arms, grippers, and mobility systems.
Experience with kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and actuation systems.
Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) or autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
