Quality Assurance and Operations Engineer

You will report directly to Asia General Manager and work closely with the department of Hardware & Manufacturing leader to ensure the quality and reliability of robotic systems while optimizing operational processes. The ideal candidate will work with experienced engineers and contribute to develop testing protocols, improve system performance, and maintain high operational standards in a fast-paced robotics environment.

The role
We are looking for an engineer of Quality Assurance and Operations with sufficient management skills and technical knowledge to join our team. You will have the opportunity to experience work within a technology startup.
As a Quality Assurance and Operations Engineer a typical day might include the following:
Develop, implement, and manage testing procedures for robotic systems and components.
Perform functional, integration, and performance testing of robotic hardware and software.
Identify, document, and track defects, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Conduct root cause analyses for system failures and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct research on materials and manufacturing processes to enhance robotic systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for quality and safety.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA reports, documentation, and test plans.
Monitor and improve operational workflows for robotic system assembly, testing, and deployment.
Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Requirements
This job might be the right one for you if:
Have a Valid US VISA.
Proficient English level (B2, C1).
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of robotic components such as sensors, actuators, and controllers.
Experience with testing tools and frameworks for hardware and software systems.
Strong proficiency in 3D, CAD software as Cadasio
Proficiency in PCB design, schematic capture, and component selection using CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Kicad, LTSpice or others).

Excellent communication: Transmit ideas effectively, be clear about what you are going to do and have a general scope of the problem.

You might have also have:
Knowledge of robotic testing frameworks and simulation tools.
Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with embedded systems testing and debugging.
Understanding of safety-critical systems and compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with robotic platforms and IoT devices.
Proficiency in ERP systems and production tracking tools.
