We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to manage and execute payroll processes accurately and efficiently. This role involves handling payroll calculations, benefits administration, and compliance with Colombian labor laws. The ideal candidate has experience in payroll processing, knowledge of tax and social security regulations, and attention to detail.
Location: Medellín, Colombia - hybrid

As a Payroll Analyst a typical day might include the following:
🔹 Payroll Processing & Administration:
Prepare and process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Verify and calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
Ensure payroll compliance with Colombian labor laws, including social security contributions (EPS, ARL, AFP, CCF).
Manage payroll records, employee contracts, and salary adjustments.
🔹 Benefits & Social Security Management:
Register and update employees in social security entities and benefits programs.
Handle payments and reports for pension funds, health insurance, and labor risks.
Ensure correct application of legal benefits (vacations, severance, bonuses, layoffs).
🔹 Payroll Compliance & Reporting:
Generate payroll reports for finance and HR teams.
Support audits and inspections by labor authorities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.
🔹 Process Improvement & Employee Support:
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Optimize payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation strategies.
This job might be the right one for you if:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in payroll processing in Colombia.
Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and tax regulations.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Siigo, Nominapp.).
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
English B2
