As an Accounting Analyst a typical day might include the following:

• Bookkeeping & Data Entry
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Account Reconciliation & Analysis
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts.
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers with general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Financial Reporting
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the preparation of management reports, providing insights on financial performance and trends.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding and timely payment processing.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain cash flow.
• Month-End & Year-End Closing Support
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and adjustments.
  • Assist in preparing supporting documentation for audits and tax preparation.
• Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for easy retrieval and compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and relevant local financial regulations.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify areas for process improvements within the finance department and contribute to the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Stay updated on new QuickBooks features and accounting best practices to increase efficiency.

This job might be the right one for you if:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, with demonstrated expertise in QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups) and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools.
• Advance English Level: B2
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
